Tiny Dancer

Madison:  Mamma!  Look at me!  I'm balleting! I never knew that ballet could also be a verb.  I even checked dictionary.com - just to make sure it was still a noun.  Yep - it still is. It's still kind of cute as a verb.  After watching how much Madison enjoys dancing balleting around the house, we decided to enroll her in a class.  Enter community education dance classes.  The registration said that comfy gym clothes and tennis shoes were acceptable attire.  Madison asked for ballet clothes and I said she didn't need them. She happily accepts that and we head off to her first class where I discover my complete and total failure as a mother.  It turns out the registration book lied and it is entirely not acceptable to be the only little girl not wearing a full leotard and tutu.  Especially if that little girl is your little girl and you see the look of disappointment on her face as she asks why all the other kids get to wear their ballet clothes.  Fail.  Needless to say, we went out and bought ballet clothes.  Then we took all kinds of video of her showing us her balleting.
